Ep.1.5 Gimme Shelter

Iris is shocked to find a group of protesters outside of City Hall, only these aren't the usual hippies. These protesters are the city's cultural elite, a group of NIMBYs from the snobby Montessori Hill district. Already testy from a strict diet, Iris is irritated by their concerns, as she assumes that they are protesting the building of a senior's center and swimming pool. What kind of people protest senior's centers? Montessori Hill is Bill's ward but Bill is largely absent and somewhat distracted lately. Iris knew she couldn't count on him. The protesters breach the security system and occupy the bullpen outside her office. She is adamant in not dealing with them, until it comes to her attention that a second permit was filed for the same plot of land, this one for a halfway house. It occurs to Iris that the protesters were misled, no doubt for a nefarious reason. The staff does a bit of digging and all fingers point to -- who else? -- Dino!
