Ep.1.7 An Officer and a Mayor

Iris is having difficulty dealing with the Police Force regarding their budget. After a casual insult is broadcast, the Chief wants to see her immediately...and see her in a romantic way. With his heart on his sleeve, the Chief tries to wine and dine her but Iris wants no part of this deal. Unfortunately, the staff seems to be suffering from an increase of run-ins with the cops and it's hard not to think that the two things are related. Meanwhile, Iris finds a bug in her office and wonders if it might be the Chief's doing. The romance spirals out of control, with the Chief even serenading Iris. Though she tries to let him down easy, he won't take no for an answer. Eventually, Bill saves the day by grabbing Iris and kissing her right in front of the Chief, causing him to relent. Iris surprises herself by kissing Bill back. Iris is safe from the Chief. But what just happened between she and Bill?
